  1. Select a video file such as MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, or AVI.
  2. Wait for the browser to validate and load the media file.
  3. Choose the output format for the extracted audio.
  4. Start extraction and keep the tab open while processing completes.
  5. Download the extracted audio file to your device.

Audio Extractor FAQ

Does the video get uploaded?

No. The video file is handled locally in your browser. AudioCutter does not upload the video or extracted audio to a server.

What happens if the video has no audio?

The tool shows an error if no usable audio track is found or if the browser cannot decode the track.

Why can extraction take time?

Long videos and high-resolution files can take longer because decoding and encoding happen on your device.

Which output format is best?

MP3 is a good default for speech and sharing. WAV is better when you plan to edit the extracted audio further.
